The Hitch Pin & Clip is the fastener that holds your hitch shank in the tow vehicle’s receiver tube. It is a 5/8″-diameter bent-handle pin with a spring clip, the same style supplied with every Equal-i-zer hitch, and it fits any standard 2″ square receiver.

The pin is hardened and zinc-finished to resist rust, and the bent handle gives you something to grip when the shank is tight in the receiver. The clip snaps through the cross-hole at the tip so the pin cannot vibrate out on rough roads. It is a direct replacement for the original, so it seats in the receiver and shank holes without wobble.

Order one as a straight replacement for a lost or worn pin, or keep a spare with your hitch. For owners who want to lock the shank to the vehicle, the Locking Hitch Pin uses the same 5/8″ size and adds a keyed barrel lock in place of the clip.
