  • 1945 – Ed Hedgepeth starts Mobile Manufacturing in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mobil Manufacturing produces hitches, tow dollies, and an on-top of the sedan “Family Sleeper”

  • 1960 – The Equal-i-zer; Sales Corp. was developed as a division of Mobile Manufacturing.
  • 1970’s – During the 1970’s The Equal-i-zer Sales Corp. ran many ads for direct to consumer sales.

  • 1984 – The Equalizer Sales Corp. was turned into Lindon Hitch, Inc.
  • 2003 – Lindon hitch moves is production facilities to Provo, Utah.
  • 2004 – No longer in Lindon, UT, the company changes its name to reflect how it does business and not where.
